Harbor Freight Tools has issued an urgent recall for Predator 2000-Watt Power Stations due to a shock hazard. The recall affects roughly 6,500 units sold nationwide between February and April 2025. When operating in Emergency Power Supply mode, the wires in the AC outlet receptacles are reversed, posing a significant risk of electric shock.
The affected product is the Predator 2000W Power Station, identified by SKU #70084 and UPC 193175488718. These portable generators, recognizable by their red and black design with “PREDATOR” in large white letters, can power up to 11 devices simultaneously.
Consumers are advised to immediately cease using the power stations and return them to any Harbor Freight Tools store for a free replacement. Although only one incident of reversed wiring has been reported, no injuries have occurred.
For assistance, consumers can contact Harbor Freight Tools at 800-444-3353 or via email at [email protected]. More information is also available on their website under the “Recall & Safety” section.
