Webster Twp: Notice of Registration for Special Election

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF WEBSTER TOWNSHIP – NOTICE OF REGISTRATION

FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 6, 2025

WEBSTER TOWNSHIP HALL, 5665 WEBSTER CHURCH RD. DEXTER MI 48130

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

Any qualified elector in Webster Township who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Webster Township Clerk; the office of the Washtenaw County Clerk; any Michigan Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. For online registration go to mi.gov/vote. Registrations forms may be mailed, emailed or dropped off to the Webster Township Election Office, 5665 Webster Church Rd. Dexter MI 48130. The last day to register by mail or online and be eligible to vote in the May 6, 2025 election is April 21, 2025.  AFTER THIS DATE, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at Webster Township, 5665 Webster Church Rd, Dexter, MI  48130.

REGULAR OFFICE HOURS AND ADDITIONAL ELECTION OFFICE HOURS:

  • Monday – Thursday   8 a.m. to 4 p.m.      Regular township business hours
  • Friday, April 25           9 a.m. to 5 p.m.      For registrations and absentee ballots
  • Friday, May 2              9 a.m. to 5 p.m.      For registrations and absentee ballots
  • Saturday, May 3         9 a.m. to 5 p.m.      For registrations and absentee ballots
  • Tuesday, May 6          7 a.m. to 8 p.m.      ELECTION DAY – In person voting and Voter Registrations

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

  • The May 6, 2025 Special Election will be held for the purpose of adopting or rejecting the Dexter Community Schools School Improvement Bond Proposition.
  • The School Improvement Bond Proposition language can be found at webstermi.us.
  • Sample ballots can be found at washtenaw.org/304/Elections, in person at the Township Hall, and on the Notice Board outside the Township Hall.

To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities. Persons with disabilities needing accommodations should contact the Webster Township Clerk’s office at 734-426-5103.
