NOTICE OF PUBLICATION BY POSTING
ORDINANCE TO ADOPT APPENDIX F – STATE CONSTRUCTION CODE
At a Regular Meeting of the York Charter Township Board of Trustees held April 8, 2025, an Ordinance to adopt Appendix F, Radon Control Methods, of the Michigan Residential Code, was introduced and approved for 1st reading by the Township Board. Consideration for 2nd reading and adoption of the Ordinance will be part of the agenda at the regularly scheduled meeting of the York Township Board on May 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of the proposed ordinance is to include Appendix F, Radon Control Methods, of the Michigan Residential Code as part of the enforcement authority of the Township Construction Code Official.
Publication of the proposed Ordinance to Adopt Appendix F of the Michigan Residential Code was made by posting the full text of the proposed ordinance on the Township website and at the Township Clerk’s office. A copy of the Ordinance may be reviewed and inspected at the York Township Clerk’s Office, 11560 Stony Creek Road, Milan, MI 48160, and on the Township’s website, www.twp-york.org as provided for under Section 8(3)(b) of the Charter Township Act, being MCL 42.8(3)(b).
