Craig Troye Lambert

Dexter, MI

His Legacy… Craig Troye Lambert, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia on March 15, 2025.  He was born on November 14, 1949, in Garden City, Michigan to Troye Lambert and Lucy (Clayton) Lambert. Craig married the love of his life, Pamela Meister, on February 27, 1971, in Belleville, Michigan. Craig proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a jet mechanic. After leaving the military, he spent 30 years at GM as a machinist. He also had his own business on the side, called Lambert’s Construction. Craig loved to build and built his own home.  Craig also spent 10 years as a school bus driver for Dexter schools and was incredibly involved with the children; he cared greatly for them. He had a strong work ethic and instilled great values in his children and grandchildren. Craig was very involved in his children’s and grandchildren’s activities and attended all of their sporting events. When Craig wasn’t working hard to provide for his family, he loved to fish and hit the open road with Pam on their Harley. Craig had a calm demeanor and laid back personality and he loved to talk with people. He looked out for everyone and would do anything for anyone. Craig enjoyed spending time outside in nature, fishing, and making sure the birds were fed. Craig was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

His Family… Craig will be missed by his wife, Pam Lambert; his children, Tracy (Jeremy) Hilobuk, Kevin (Tracy) Lambert; brother, Chris Lambert; grandchildren, Trevor Hilobuk, Connor (Kendall) Hilobuk, Kason Lambert, Lincoln Lambert, Tara Lambert; great grandchildren, Hailey, Jett, Brynn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Troye and Lucy Lambert; and brother, Adrian Lambert.

His Farewell… Craig’s family and friends will gather Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 11:00AM-1:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will follow at 1:00PM.
