NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON THE CONSIDERATION OF THE DRAFT

2025-26 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN

Notice is hereby given that the Chelsea Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for review and consideration of the draft City of Chelsea Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). The CIP is a program that projects and coordinates public expenditures for improvements to the transportation and utility systems, municipal facilities, and other capital improvement projects over a six-year period. Preparation of the capital improvements plan is done under the authority of the PA 33 of 2008, the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, as amended.

The CIP will be considered by the Chelsea Planning Commission on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Meeting to be held in the City Municipal Building (Council Chambers) located at 311 S. Main Street, Chelsea, MI. A Zoom link will be provided for members of the public who would like to attend remotely.

Signed, written comments concerning the CIP will be accepted until 12:00pm on March 18, 2024. Comments may be addressed to the Chelsea Planning Commission, 305 S Main St, Suite 100, Chelsea, MI  48118. Comments may alternatively be emailed to the Community Development Department at [email protected].
