Lima Twp: Notice of Voter Registration for Election 8/4/26

LIMA TWP: NOTICE OF VOTER REGISTRATION FOR AUGUST 4 ELECTION

TO QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF LIMA TOWNSHIP:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of Lima Township who is not already registered may register to vote at the office of the Lima Township Clerk, the office of the Washtenaw County Clerk, any Michigan Secretary of State branch office, or online at www.mi.gov/vote.  Registration forms may also be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to the Township Clerk. 

The last day to register by mail or online to be eligible to vote in the August 4 State Primary Election is July 20, 2024.

After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector of Lima Township may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.497) at the Lima Township Clerk’s Office, located at 12172 Jackson Road, Dexter, MI  48130 at the following times:

• Regular Business hours:  Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Saturday, August 1 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Monday, August 3 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Election Day, Tuesday, August 4 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Lima Township residents will be voting on the following offices:  Nominees for the Democratic and Republican Parties for: Governor, U.S. Senator; Representative in Congress 6th District; Representative in State Legislature 47^th District; Delegates to County Convention; Washtenaw Community College Operating Millage Renewal Proposal.  Additionally, residents in the Chelsea School District will also be voting on Chelsea School District Operating Millage Renewal Proposal; Chelsea School District Sinking Fund Millage Proposal.

An official list of candidates and text of these proposals can be found at mi.gov/vote or in person at the Lima Township Offices.  A sample ballot may be viewed at mi.gov/vote.
