Lima Twp: Notice of Public Hearing, May 12, 2025 7:00pm
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing has been scheduled for Monday, May 12, 2025, during the Lima Township Board of Trustees Regular Meeting at 7:00pm for the purpose of discussing a proposed P.A. 425 Agreement between Lima Township and Sylvan Township. The proposed agreement, if approved, will provide for conditional transfer of property to establish a mutual joint economic development area within Lima and Sylvan Townships that includes the potential extension of water and sewer to the newly created economic development area, subject to the terms of the proposed agreement. The parcels proposed for conditional transfer are G-07-18-300-002, G-07-18-300-003, and G-0719-200-001 in the Township of Lima and F-06-24-200-011, F-06-24-100-002, F-06-24-100-001, F-06-24-100-005, and F-06-24-200-010 in the Township of Sylvan. If approved, a joint municipal planning commission would be formed to control the planning and zoning for land usages in the economic development project area.
A copy of the proposed Agreement may be reviewed at the Lima Township offices located at 12172 Jackson Rd, Dexter, MI 48130. Written comments may be addressed to the Lima Township Clerk, P.O.
