Saline Girls’ Lacrosse Drops Pair of Heartbreakers

The Saline girls’ lacrosse team dropped a pair of heartbreaking matches last week.

The Hornets dropped a hard-fought 8-7 decision to Father Gabriel Richard to start the week.

Ayla Stager, Mary Kate Murphy, and Sofia Buday scored two goals each for the Hornets.

Saline then dropped a tough 10-8 overtime decision to Clay, Ohio Friday night.

Stager again led the team in scoring with a hat trick of three goals.

Buday and Molly Nachtrieb scored two goals each for Saline.

The Hornets fell to 3-5 overall on the season.
