NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting of the Scio Township Zoning Board of Appeals will be (held at the Scio Township Hall, 827 N. Zeeb Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan, via zoom,) on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. During this meeting, the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold public hearings on the following matters pursuant to the Scio Township Codified Zoning Ordinance of 2009, as amended:
- Variance # 26004, AM Property Management LLC, requesting interpretation of Section 36-74 of the Scio Township Zoning Ordinance to consider A-1 Rental Sales & Service to operate a customer facing, small-scale, low-intensity hardware, tools and machinery rental, sales and service retail business within a C-2, General Commercial zoning district. Additionally, interpretation of the provisions of Section 36-139 of the Scio Township Zoning Ordinance related to “equipment and vehicle” rental allowed in the C-4, Composite Commercial zoning district.
Persons or their duly appointed representative having interest in said applications shall there and then be heard at the above described meetings or adjournment thereof relative to any matters that should come before the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Details concerning the aforementioned matters may be examined by interested persons and written comments will be received, at the Scio Township Offices at 827 N. Zeeb Road during office hours, weekdays, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to participate.
