• NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AMENDMENTS TO WEBSTER TOWNSHIP
• ZONING ORDINANCE (Ordinance No. 08-11)

Resolution No 26-20 as adopted on June 16, 2026

At a regular meeting of the Township Board of Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, held at the Webster Township Hall onJune 16, 2026, the following resolution 26-20 was offered by Savander and supported by Harms. The Voting is as follows:

YEAS: Savander, Harms, Brovont, Munzel, Vrsek

NAYS: Scharf

ABSENT: N/A

An Ordinance to amend Sections 3.80, 3.85, 3.90, 3.95, 3.100, 3.105, and 3.110 of Article 3 of the Township Zoning Ordinance to streamline requirements and procedures related to the applicability, applications, review, and issuance of preliminary and final compliance permits. This amendment was initiated by the Planning Commission as part of its 2025 goals.

The Township of Webster, Washtenaw County, Michigan Ordains:

AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE. Sections 3.80, 3.85, 3.90, and 3.95 of Article 3 of the Webster Township Zoning Ordinance are hereby amended in their entirety to read as follows:

• Section 3.80 – Preliminary Certificate of Zoning Compliance
• Section 3.85 – Inspections
• Section 3.90 – Final Certificate of Zoning Compliance
• Section 3.95 – Permit Expiration and Time Limits on Construction

REPEAL OF ORDINANCE PROVISIONS. Sections 3.100, 3.105, and 3.110 of Article 3 of the Webster Township Zoning Ordinance are hereby repealed in their entirety.

The ordinance shall take effect seven (7) days after publication of notice of adoption of this ordinance, unless referendum procedures are initiated under MCL 125.3402. If referendum procedures are initiated, this ordinance will take effect in accordance with MCL 125.3402.
