Donna (Little Lange) Sieber passed away in Plymouth Twp., MI on June 1, 2026. At Donna’s request, cremation has taken place.

Donna’s life began on November 22, 1929, in Detroit, MI. Her parents were James C. and Verona (Willhoft) Little. The family moved to Saline, MI in 1935, and Donna graduated from Saline High School in 1947. She lived in Saline for 37 years before relocating to Benton Harbor, MI in 1973.

Donna worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 18 years, retiring in 1994. She was very active in volunteering for the North Berrien Senior Center where she was a Board Member and a volunteer driver, driving seniors who didn’t have transportation. She was also very active in her church, St. Paul’s UCC of Watervliet.

In September 1999, Donna’s beloved husband of 25 years passed away suddenly which changed her life forever! Due to health reasons, in April 2022, Donna moved back to Saline to be near her family.

Donna is survived by her four children: Sandra Diem of Canton, MI, Patti (John Gochis) Quick of Saline, MI, Dawn (Tom) Lillie of Oak Creek, CO, and Jeffrey (Pat) Lange of Saline, MI, as well as her blended family of three children: Linda (Jim) Williams of Perry, GA, Ron (Anna) Sieber of Stevensville, MI, and Laura Sieber of St. Joseph, MI. Donna was grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She is also survived by a niece, Melanie (Brent) Clements of Dixon, IL. Donna was known to all her grandchildren as “Gramma Honey.”

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Sieber; brother Richard Little, his wife Pat, and daughter Cheryl (Little) McFarling; sister Dorothea Slater and her husband Richard; step-mother Shirley (Lutz) Little; half-sister Marguerite Little; half-brother Jamie Little; Herbert Lange, father of her children; and son-in-law Timothy Diem.

Donna’s second love was playing “games” of all kinds – golf, cards, board games and dominoes. She always played with a very competitive nature and loved to win! She was director of the local Cribbage Club “19” for 16 years. She loved to play bridge, euchre, spades, pinochle, and many other card games.

She also loved crossword puzzles. She played a lot of these games on the internet on her computer competing with people from all over the world. In her later years, if she wasn’t out mowing her yard, she would be on the computer for long periods of time. Her computer was also a good place to keep in touch with her faraway family members. Donna repeatedly said that she was “so blessed” for her large and loving family. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 1650 N. Bainbridge Center Road, Watervliet, MI 49098, with a luncheon following.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Berrien Senior Center, 6648 Ryno Road, P.O. Box 730, Coloma, MI 49038 or to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
