Blackstone Products has issued a nationwide recall of its Parmesan Ranch seasoning due to potential Salmonella contamination, posing a risk to consumers’ health. The recall affects all Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning products, specifically those with lot numbers 2025-43282, 2025-46172, and 2026-54751, with best-by dates of July 2, August 5, and August 12, 2027. These products were distributed nationwide through Walmart stores and the Blackstone Products website.
The contamination stems from a potentially tainted dry milk powder ingredient sourced from California Dairies, Inc. Although no illnesses have been reported, Salmonella can cause severe infections, particularly in vulnerable groups such as young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.
Consumers are advised to check their pantry for the affected seasoning and dispose of it immediately. Blackstone Products is offering a replacement for the recalled product. For further details, customers can contact Blackstone at 1-888-879-4610, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM EST. It’s crucial for consumers to remain vigilant and ensure their products are safe for consumption.
