Robin Hills Farm and Chelsea Rotary are Partnering on a Fun Event this Summer

A fireworks show and family-friendly event are planned to happen at Robin Hills Farm this summer now that it has the thumbs up from Sylvan Township.

At the May 7 Sylvan Township Board meeting, the board looked at and approved two applications for an event gathering and fireworks display at Robin Hills Farm, which is in Sylvan Township.

The event was described to the township as a “fundraising event with fireworks display from Wolverine Fireworks Company. This is a community-focused event in partnership with the Rotary Club of Chelsea that will raise money for Chelsea scholarship programs. There will be family-friendly activities like bounce houses, goat encounters, face painting, etc.”

In their application to the township, Robin Hills Farm said the event will feature games and activities for kids as well as concessions, music and fireworks. There will be opportunities to donate to the Chelsea Rotary Club Scholarship program and a portion of the proceeds will be used to support this effort as well.

One scholarship offered by Chelsea Rotary is the STRIVE (Students Taking Renewed Interest in the Value of Education) Scholarship Program. This program is intended to help motivate and support students entering their senior year.

This is the first time for this community-focused event at Robin Hills. It’s scheduled for June 29. The day would begin at 3 p.m. with the fireworks starting around 10 p.m.

Robin Hills Farm is located 20390 M-52, just outside of Chelsea. It’s a 129-acre education and event center with a working farm. It also includes the Nest Cocktail Bar and Kitchen.

More details to come when the Sun Times News follows up in preview of the big day.
