Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm. Members present: Supervisor Bill Van Riper, Treasurer Nanette Havens, Clerk Ann Kwaske, and Trustee Greg McKenzie. Trustee Dale Luick arrived at 7:04.
Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Havens, to approve the agenda as presented. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Van Riper, to approve the consent agenda of Minutes of June 8 Regular Meeting, Payroll with addition of Deputy Treasurer pay ($16,224.20), and Accounts Payable ($22,903.40). All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Van Riper, to set a board work session to discuss specific items and determine what information needs to be gathered to proceed on next phase of Township Hall Project. 3 ayes, 2 nays. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Kwaske, to approve the commercial lease with Enchanted Depot LLC for the Depot building, including the Guarantee of Commercial Lease Agreement, and authorize the Clerk and Supervisor to sign. 4 ayes, 1 abstain. Motion passed.
Resolution 2026-13 Extending the Temporary Moratorium on Approval of Data Centers offered by McKenzie, supported by Luick. Upon roll call vote, all ayes. Resolution adopted.
Motion by Luick, seconded by Van Riper, to approve the auditor representation letter and authorize the Clerk and Treasurer to sign. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Luick, to request an audit proposal from Sigfried & Crandall for a 3-year audit contract for years 2027, 2028, and 2029. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Kwaske, seconded by McKenzie, to direct the Township Planner to create an annotated summary of the Lima Township Zoning Ordinance book and present it at a future Planning Commission meeting. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by McKenzie, seconded by Luick, to direct the Planning Commission to consider a new Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) Ordinance, to investigate and report on a Fertilizer Ordinance based on the draft from Huron River Watershed Council (HRWC), and review and consider updates to the Food Truck Ordinance. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Havens, seconded by Luick, to adjourn. All ayes. Motion passed.
