On June 22, 2024, Rentschler Farm Museum hosted the Saline District Library for the Storytime at the Farm “Summer Storytime Adventure.” They featured stories, songs, and tours of the farm’s chicken coop and sheep barn.
Dean Girbach, a Director for the Saline Area Historical Society, states “this is the first event where we’ve partnered with the Saline District Library to come out to Rentschler Farm and do an actual read here. It’s part of our educational program that we would like to do going forward. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring the kids out and enjoy the farm experience.”
After storytime, families were able to tour and visit the chicken coop and sheep barn.
