INFORMATION: While on routine patrol, an officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Main Street for the report of a subject who was on the premises that had been previously trespassed and suspected of stealing items. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant and the suspect, identified as a 26-year-old female. The complainant went on to recount that on two separate occasions, June 16th and June 21st, the suspect was suspected of taking merchandise without paying for the items and provided the officer with video surveillance footage of the incidents in question. The suspect was removed from the premises and served written trespass, preventing the suspect from returning to the property. The case remains open pending warrant submission and review by the prosecutor’s office to determine if charges would be authorized.

INFORMATION: While on routine patrol, an officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Main Street for the report of a retail fraud that had occurred on June 23, 2026. The officer met with the complainant, who stated that on June 23rd at approximately 6:23 pm, a suspect had entered the premises and proceeded to load a handheld basket full of merchandise. The suspect reportedly proceeded to the self-checkout aisles and began scanning his items. Once the suspect had finished scanning all of the items and while an employee was assisting another customer, the suspect left the store without paying for the items. A check of the video surveillance footage showed that the suspect never made an attempt to pay. At the time of the report, the identity of the suspect was unknown. The case was turned over to the investigator’s office for any additional investigation and follow-up.
