| INFORMATION: While on routine patrol an officer was dispatched to the lobby of the Chelsea Police Department to speak with a subject who wanted to report an assault that had occurred the previous day. The complainant stated that he had been in the lobby of the Chelsea Police Department on May 25th at approximately 3:00 pm and had gotten into an argument with the suspect. The complainant stated that at some time during the altercation the suspect reportedly struck the complainant with an object. The suspect was identified as a 39-year-old Chelsea Woman, the officer responded to her residence to interview her about the incident. The suspect denied the allegations that an assault took place. The case remains open pending warrant submission and review by the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office to determine if criminal charges would be authorized. | ||

| INFORMATION: While on routine patrol an officer was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Main Street for the report of a stolen trailer plate. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the complainant who stated that he had a trailer parked on his property and recently discovered that the license plate had been taken from the trailer. The complainant stated that he believed the license plate had been stolen sometime around May 26, 2026. At the time of the report there was no suspect information available. | ||

| INFORMATION: While on routine patrol an officer was requested to respond to the lobby of the Chelsea Police Department for the report of a larceny from building that reportedly occurred in the 300 block of Wilkinson Street. Upon arrival the officer was met by the complainant who stated that he suspected that someone had been entering his residence while he was not at home and stealing miscellaneous items. The complainant stated that this had been occurring on multiple occasions over the last couple of weeks. The case was turned over to the investigator and remains open pending further investigation. | ||
